I have been looking for a factory hole in the firewall to run my amp power wire to the battery. Found one on the driver's side but need it on the passenger side. Is it easier just to drill a new hole and use a grommet?

 

If you can't find the hole, I imagine that a drill hole/grommet combo would work just fine. And you could just plug it up for re-sale in the future.

use the ac hole cut the grommet

 

There is a hole between the shock tower and firewall practically all the way down... it helps to actually look around.

 

Exactly how my friend and I were able to run my amp wire through. It slid right through.

 

yeah thats where i ran my power wire then tucked it back into the cabin behind the glove box....looks pretty clean in the bay
