I've got an '89 civic hatch 1.5l, 5speed. When I turn my wipers onto "delay" they work 1 time then dont continue to come on unless i turn off then turn switch back on. However on "low" and "high" wipers work as they are supposed to working intermittently and the low and high speed. Just not the slow or delayed position. Once in a blue moon the delayed position will work but more not. Can someone help me out here on where to start diagnosing this problem. Hopefully your not gonna tell me that its the expensive wiper switch on the column lol.

 

is there 2 relays for the one switch...if so try the relay first

 

im interested to see if anyone knows the solution as im having the exact same problem and im kinda lazy ....so im looking for the quick answer before i break out the multimeter and start chasing wires
