My undercasing ripped off!
I cleaned my K&N filter and put it back together. The plastic that is covering it above the wheel (undercasing?) ripped off while I was driving. I must have bottomed out to much and loosened it up cuz i only took one screw off and put it back on. Do any of you know where I can get another, its probably not to safe with the filter being exposed to all the elements. Thanks all
I had the same thing happen to me while driving at 80-90 mph on my way to Tennessee. The tire chewed up about half of the splashguard. Instead of buying new sg I bent some sheet metal into a high sided tray and bolted it to what remained of the sg and by the front of the bumper. I also punched a small drain hole in it so that if any water did get in it could escape. The filter remains dry even while driving in a downpour. Give it a try...I've been very pleased with this fix.

Yo Area, Sounds good since im so poor. But all of it ripped off including the stuff behind and on top of the wheel, Im wondering if it needs to be replaced or just the splash guard part.
