The radiator will not really change much. It can disperse heat faster than the plastic unit, thus lowering your chances of overheating. It holds more coolant, thus making it take a little bit longer for the fluid to warm up etc.

The thermostat controls the temperature of the coolant for the most part. If that is not touched, the coolant temperature will basically remain the same unless you had a known problem with the radiator prior to replacing it.

can anyone tell me if supertech antifreeze/coolant is ok for my new rad? it says do not add water...so im guessing dont add water, just put the super tech in??

its fine just use it! yours is 100 to 1 ratio. you need to mix it down to 50 to 1. for example every cup of antifreeze you would add a cup of water to it. its not 50/50
