Well im picking up a full b18b ls swap this week and i want to know should i do turbo on this nonvtec because i heard vtec takes power out of the turbo or should i just swap out the head and get a b16 head and go all motor im looking to do around 225-250 which ever is cheaper and safe also.

Your posting in forced induction, Im gonna guess most people will say turbo. Just swapping out a B16 head wont put you at 225-250 you'll need a lot more than that. What the hell do you mean that vtec takes power out of the turbo?????

Stick with the non vtec and boost it since your a noob to boost.

Dont rev the engine past 8k unless you get ARP rod bolts.

Once you get bored of being pushed in your seat and crapping your pants, then I would save up, rebuild the bottom end and get a vtec head later down the road. (if you dont crash it 1st)
