Default Clutch not engage it make rattle. Clutch in, don't rattle

When the car is on. Weither it on nutreul or in gear while the clutch not press down. It sound like it rattling. When I'm park up, I press and hold down the clutch all the way in, the rattle disappear.

Any suggest where to look and what it might be? Should bleeding the clutch will work?

Your throw-out bearing probably needs replacement.

Finally, something I can chime in on and have knowledge about!

Yes, it is your throw-out bearing, take care if it now rather then later.

You can probably get away with it for a while but when it goes it can take the clutch with it (82 Datsun 280ZX) or knock something around and end up with a hole in your transmission (93 Mazda MX-6 LS).

It is very cheap to replace, but you might as well get a whole clutch kit and do it all at once.

I have a similar issue except...The clutch was replaced along with the throw bearing...some said it may be the shaft bearing

It would only make noise if it was in gear, then. (More so when you're moving, as well.)

I had a rattle like that ended up being the countershaft bearings. The reason being that I don't think it is the throw out bearing is because that bearing is only under load when the clutch is being pressed usually when it's going out it will make noise when the clutch is pressed in not released.

Throw-out bearings usually go bad quicker when you have your foot on the clutch when not needed, at stop lights for example.

Doesn't sound like the throw-out bearing. Input shaft bearing is my guess as well. Not good. Does it change under load? (i.e. acceleration vs. deceleration). Input shaft bearing, much like a wheel bearing, will change sound under load. It could also be the clip on the throw-out bearing is bad, allowing it to "rattle" when the clutch is not depressed. Is it a rattle or more of a grind or whine? How many miles on the car?

car has 211k as of now. 2004 ex. i believe the original owner had change the clutch at 120k i assume. not sure did she change the throw out bearing while she doing the clutch. car doesnt grind at all or pop out of gear.

when im idle on nutreul the car make some rattle/whine. when i press my clutch in, the noise will disappear but i can slightly hear a little. when the car is in gear, 0-30 mph i can hear it and when im bout to do a complete stop at a light and let the car roll, i still hear it.
the noise of the whine is really bugging me.

Just fixed one of these, its an input shaft bearing. If you decide to wait like i did to replace it the noise will pick up and make sound while driving. I let me go for so long that there was so much play in the shaft it began to leak fluid on my clutch ruining the clutch. Its a pain in the behind to replace because of the subframe on this car. It has to be dropped which requires some support to hold the motor up so you can get the tranny out. Was quoted like 2200 to fix by a local mecahnics so i decided to do it myself. cost like 200 bucks total since i needed a new clutch.
