i have the above stated engine and am wondering what transmissions are a direct fit with this particular engine. ive tried searching through and simply cant find more information, a link or simple response would be much appreciated. thanks.

 

If its a manual trans you are talking about then any hydro 92-00 d series trans will fit lx, ex,dx (ef's 89-91 d series are cable but will also fit but you need some type of conversion kit)
Automatic trans has to be from a 96-2000 d series ex,dx,lx. I have heard that the hx will not work or work but with issues.
