Major AC Leak
I bought a 1991 Honda Accord 2 Door LX with 170,000 miles for 500 bucks. The A/C didn't work so I went to see if any refrigerent was in the system. The place that sucked out the refrigerent said there was none in there so they didn't charge me. I put in 2 cans of R134a and a can of stop leak and dye. The ac was about 55 degrees and I was happy with that. The next day I could smell somthing burning and I parked the car. My calipers where stuck, but when I went back out right beneath the compressor was a stain on the tar. So I looked and I have a major leak from my compressor. 2 days after charging it, it was empty. I looked at the compressor and there is two metal lines going in. My question is, is there seals there that are known for leaking that bad. Or is the compressor just no good?
The whole compressor and undersheild of the car was soaked with oil.

You should check your inlet valves. I had mine recharged earlier this year, and the shop put 2 lbs in the system. With in 6 months, the entire system was emptied out. Had it refilled again at no charge, and it was gone in a week. Had a different shop diagnose, and they found a bad seal inside the Low side of the inlet valve on the ac line (where you put refridgerant into the system). They sprayed something into the inlet valve, didn't pay attention to the can. It had some air bubbles.
