Default TD06 20g turbo setup help and questions? 91 civic hatch

i recently acquired a td06 20g turbo (from what i have gotten from the serial numbers) and i got a brand new never been used intercooler, piping and everything.

also i got a boost and A/F guage, and a Greddy BOV.

now it has very minimal shaft play, so i assume a rebuild would be best. esp to start off new.

there is one thing missing of the compressor housing and i have read it is the wastegate actuator??is that right?

also i will be getting a external wastegate, and chipped ecu on hondata s300.

im looking to do just a daily boosted LS on like 8 to 10lbs. just on stock motor, maybe some internals as well.

what numbers could i be looking at with this turbo?
also what turbo manifold would be best?
i was thinking the log style manifold. or maybe a top mount?

it will be going into a 91 civic hatch. which currently has a b16a2 swapped in. full DA integra radiator, and notched crossmember for header clearance, and obd1 converted.

Why not boost the B16? B16>LS.

Maybe, need pics.

Do a search

Stock internals? Either one is fine. Do you want spool or top end?

Is this what you have? If it uses a radius flange, you must go custom with the manifold flange. If it came from a Subaru, you must do a completely custom flange.

TDO6H-20G-14CM2 650 CFM (15psi) that's 44lbs/min .. A T3/T04E 50 trim is 49lbs/min as a comparison

TD06-20G 430-450 crank hp @ 22 psi

The use of a topmount manifold would be completely utterly useless, and unnecessary.

i would boost the b16 but i want to do either an LS or GSR. actually leaning more towards the GSR with head studs, headgasket, and rod bolts. and then just boosting it.

if i can get a cheap enough longblock i will just use stock internals, but if this b16 holds up for a couple of months it will be completly forged.

that looks like it. but someone i showed the turbo to tonight that used to have a 16g eclipse said that all i need is an ext. wastegate and my oil feed and return lines.
he also said that the "radius flange" i assume??? is/was welded shut. or something like that. the little arm that activates that flap inside the exhuast end of the turbo?? that hole on the outside of the exhuast part has been shut off.

That means the flapper is welded shut for use of an external wastegate manifold. So now you need to get an exhaust manifold that will use a Radius flanged outlet, but still fits the B-series head. (I'd have it made, personally, as no one makes a quality one for this turbo with that flange).

OR

Get a saw and cut open the weld, utilizing the internal gate and flapper again, then you would get a manifold MADE, with NO external gate and Radius flange.

Either way, you've got some work cut out ahead of you. Even if you find the engine you want, you've got to get other materials. This means that you're going to have work to do.
