Default Sohc Del Sol build

Bought the car stock and starting building right away started mostly with body work; skunk2 springs on kyb struts, skunk2 front and rear camber kits, new ti-rods, and new strut mounts. Then i moved to the motor i swapped another d16z6 into the car and had a custom turbo kit made. As it sits its running about 8psi and i estimate like 175hp. This winter im pulling the motor doin a engine bay tuck and shave, and building my first motor. here is what im thinking:

75mm wisco pistons-
Radiator and hoses
Eagles h beam rods-
acl bearings-
comp cam 59300-
supertech valves springs-
supertech valves (STD)-
Blox retainers-
Supertech bronze valve guides-
machined-
skunk2 intake manifold-
68mm throttle body-
AEM fuel rail-
skunk2 cam gear-
Ram style manifold
Darton Wet sleeves-
Supertech block guard-
Timing belt
Turbo
LSD tranny
Stage 2 or 3 Clutch
Lightweight flywheel
water pump
Oil pump

Let me know what you guys think im hoping for about 350hp any ideas like changes or anything to get that kind of power??

Nice build. I actually agree with u. I've never seen that wing and thought it looks pretty good compared to the other wings I've seen.

... 350 whp?? What psi are you planning on running? ..
most d-series builds make 220-260 whp @ 15-17 psi sleeved.
if you want 350 whp, I'd suggest a B-SERIES!!!! D= daily lol.. to each their own
How are you going to run a block guard with sleeves?

I always loved del sol's also..color is unique..here in wisconsin you rarely see em this color..
as for 350 whp good luck im interested to see what your D-series does but looks like e-85 and 20+ psi will make 350 just sayin..

what are you going to do for axles? turbo size?

...btw youll hae yourself a race one of these days dj..

All this talk about PSI and horsepower and not once was the turbo mentioned past it being a "turbo". Fail. If you have to ask if you can make a certain amount of power out of parts you already bought/plan on buying then you didn't research well. Looks like you copied someone's parts list and started hoping for the best.

If you want to make a certain HP you pick the turbo that will get you there FIRST.

Really only 220-260 @ 15-17psi sleeved? You need to look through the SOHC Turbo thread, my old coupe made 237whp @ 10psi on a bone stock D15B with arp headstuds. The OP's goal of 350 is very achievable.

Looks good OP keep it up
