I ran the VIN# and it's mugen and it was in a frontal accident. Maybe that's why it doesn't have the original grill and lip. Airbags were deployed too.

thanks guys! I was thinking about buying it too. but not if it's been in a accident. I'm guessing the resprayed the whole car.

 

Dont discount the fact that it was in a front end accident because auto body shops do wonders these days. What I would be concerned with is who was the auto body shop that did the work. Number 2 did they use aftermarket parts or OEM parts to repair the work. Number 3 is make sure they offer a warranty. If this checks out for good stats then I would buy it.

I say this because I had a 2003 cl type S 6 speed back in the day and it was in a front end collision ( not my fault) and the company that did the work warranty their work for the life time of the car. So, that is why I say check to see who did the work.

 

Well I would stay clear the person selling claims right in the post that the car is a one owner and has a clear car fax with no accidents

Never buy from that dealer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I learned from first hand experience that more than half of their cars are a sham!!!! That shop is scandalous with all the crap they have hiding. mostly everything they say is a lie

 

To add on to what you said, I've also been down to that dealer it's off the 91 freeway.
I went looking for an 08 Si Sedan, they had one in blue.
Their service sucked like a prostitute. most of those cars had their batteries disconnected.
They look at you weird when you ask to test drive them. Like they're hiding something.
I'm ultimately glad I went with a private seller and not them. They just seem very immature and appear to just be making a quick buck by always having the sought after cars though the conditions were **** before they threw some money into them.

 

I actually live down the street from this dealer, and I would not deal with them at all. My friend of mine bought a 09 Ford Focus there with extremely low mileage. I saw the car the next day and it ended up being t-boned. The whole passenger side was resprayed... and reworked..

Try to steer clear from them.
