Hi HT, I have a stock 96 Honda civic that has been sitting since June/July. At the beginning of the week I decided to try and get the car running. I knew that the battery was dead so I went out and bought a new battery. But after that It didn't start. it will crank but would not turn over. I get fuel and spark but it still doesn't start. I also swap the distributor with my brothers civic but that didn't help.

so, does anyone have any idea's??

 

Try flooring the accelerator to the floor and turning the key to start.

You def checked for spark, did you do each wire?

 

Do the fuel injectors spray fuel?

Any CEL codes?

Have you checked the mechanical timing to see whether the timing belt slipped?
