Weird clicking/grinding noise when changing gears - Honda Civic 98 Automatic
Hello,
I'm quite a noob when it comes to cars so I apologize for my lack of knowledge. I've come across a problem last night when I was parking my Civic. I hit reverse and the car moved okay but when I changed to D it would not move when stepping on the gas and there is this clicking/grinding noise as I go through R, D, D2 and so on. Currently, my car does not move in any gear.
I've tried researching online and the reasons/causes vary. I'm hoping it is just the lack of transmission fluid, I did check this and looks like I have a small leak in the transmission. I was hoping to pour ATF today to test it out but we are currently dealing with a storm in my country.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
