Questions weld my first 3" custom exhaust
First of all sorry for my bad English.
I do tig welding for 2 - 3 month's now, so I'm a beginner. (I make nice mig welds but that's easy)
I have bought myself 2 Dynomax mufflers. One glasspack and one rear muffler. They are made from normal steel. (with aluminium finish or something)
What is the best deal? Take stainless or steel piping? I think stainless and paint the mufflers black.

i'm just starting to build anther exhaust for my s2000, my old was a 3" mild steel, mild steel everything.. never had a weld break in 2 years. new england weather too..
the pipe itself will last, but the welds are unprotected and will rust quick.. after the welds were grinding down i took some jb weld putting and went over the beads, sealed them off from weather.. worked out really well.
