Okay I have a 94 EG coupe with a b18c1 swap, recently my driverside motor mount broke and cv broke on the driverside. I can't seem to get it out! I've ben beating on it with a hammer and pry bar for the past 3 hours underneith the car. Any suggestions or tools that might be of help?

i had a hard time with mine too. the way that worked me was, i used a pry bar to pry it, hold it tight, and hit the axle out. hit the axle not the pry bar. it worked for me.

if you cant get it out, by hitting it with a hammer, then take out the whole axle and intermediate shaft along with it. itll be easier to take it apart once it off the car, plus youll have more room to work with. but the bad part is, youll have to drain your tranny and buy new fluid.

Thanks man, is putting it in first a good idea when trying to take it out?

Try prying on 2 sides of the axle end.

im a little confused on your question.

wait, sorry to insult your inteligance, but are you prying between the axle and the half shaft or between the half shaft and tranny?

well, install the shaft in first if you decide to take it off, then the axle. remember to lube up your axle with some grease so its not so hard to take off next time.

I just bought the car and this happened, and I ment first gear to keep it from turning. I'm considering taking out the halfshaft and beating it out from there. Idk yet, I bought oem tranny fluid today.
