Car loses power when clutch pushed in
The car is a 00 civic si and i was driving it last night, the clutch started to vibrate really bad when I would push it in, it stopped and now it makes a hissing or rubbing noise and the car loses power at idle and dies when I push the clutch in. Anyone know what this is? It's a stage 2 clutch on a b16 tranny stock flywheel. Lsv bottom end b16 head some mods not much don't know if you need to know the setup or not .
A hissing or rubbing sound wouldn't be caused by fuel pump/lines.
How about giving relevant details then? If it's the clutch OR transmission you can't do anything about it until you pull the transmission and inspect both. If you can't do that then that's another problem entirely. Right now the only thing you can do is listen to the noise.
Are you getting any CELs when it happens?

Then there's nothing to be done until the transmission is dropped other than making sure of the source of the noise and that it's not coming from somewhere other than the transmission.

It could be for the loss of power, maaybe. So many things can be wrong cause of that. lol
"For the third time. Until you pull the transmission there's nothing you can do except listening to the noises."
