Icon6 Honda civic died

I began driving and heard a loud clicking noise. The higher the RPM went the louder the clicking noise became. I turned around immediatley and when further down the road and engaged the clutch the vehicle died instead of goin to the normal idle. I was still in the middle of busy street so and was rolling so I rolling started until the next light. I continued to do this but when it died the second time the wheels locked up and could no longer push start. When I popped the hood and attempted to start it made a tick noise but no crank. Also the wire from my battery to starter began to smoke. Any ideas?

You may have seized the engine. Put the transmission in neutral and then try to turn the crank pulley. Will it turn?

these sound like classic symptoms of a seized engine/ spun bearing

what was the oil maintenance the car undergoes, every 3k miles? do you have any leaks/ burning oil

the primary cause of seized engines are from lack of lube( either you've ran it dry or ran it contaminated with coolant or past the 3 month lifespan)

Sounds like you should start shopping for a replacement engine.
