Wats up HT.....i just picked up a EG SI hatch with 83k miles on it n wanna turbo it....was thinkin of doin 16psi on stock motor will dat be to much to run on a stock block????

 

boost level doesnt matter, hp does. What turbo do you have or want to run?

 

as stated boost or psi doesnt matter when it comes to a turbo. its an irrelevant question that i hate when someone asks me how much boost im running. airflow is what matters. the bigger the turbo the larger volume of air it will flow. the more air in addition with more fuel= more power.

as stated what turbo do you have in mind? what are your goals? what power are you trying to achieve? on what fuel? do you have supporting mods? if so what are they? all of these questions need to be answered before we can give you any reliable answers, because 15 psi on a small t25 is not the same as 15 psi on a gt35r.
