Here is my simple setup. 2 3/8 bungs in the back of vc with 3/8npt-1/2 hose barb fittings that run over to my baffled catch can. Simple and cost effective. Like $150 total.

I'll now need to find a decent catch can to install that actually works unlike most of the cans out there.

Any suggestions on cost effective ones? I've seen the Endyn version, Z10, and even the B R fittings one.

Plus I am not gonna pay $200+ for it!

for a decent catch can, for the valve cover setups, you will damn near, pay that in lines and fittings.

What is a decent catch can though? I'm not running very high boost so I don't think I will need the valve cover method but the rear bungs setup like the Endyn can.

Internal baffling is also something that has me wondering too, I have yet to see any cans with built in baffling. Unless you fill it with steel wool which I plan on doing anyway.

Enlighten me with the correct knowledge...

I don't suggest steel wool because it will rust eventually because of the moisture in the can. Use one of those shower ***** "lufa" is what I think they are called. My catch can has baffling built into it.

Oh really? Steel wool with oil vapors in it will rust?

What catch can do you have that has this "baffling" that you speak of?

There will be more than just oil vapor in the catch can.

There are catch cans with baffles. If you haven't found one yet your not looking hard enough.

Really? Why don't you enlighten me then? I've seen these catch cans in person, the Endyn, Greddy, NRG, Cusco and a bunch of other no name brand "catch cans" and all that I have seen (except the Endyn), have no internal baffling.

Enlighten me oh great one!! Show me the way!

Why do you want to use steel wool?

From what I have read, the steel wool would act like a media for the oil vapors to pass through. The heavier molecules with the oil would catch on the steel wool but the air would vent out or return back into the intake manifold minus the oil.

Make sense to me and I think I even read about it back in the day on the BBS boards of Endyn.

My can is baffled, And it has a drainback to the front of the oil pan. I think its more important to baffle the vc than it is the can. But both wont hurt ether.
