gsr on 8psi breaks up in vtec
whats up guys i have a gsr turbo eg hatch. Its tuned on crome, 440 injectors running 8psi, 255 fuel pump and plugs, fresh oil. It was good for the first week of being tuned, shredding tires like its supposed too, but as the days came and went, it would start to break up around5500 in second gear but then regain power. What i mean by breaking up is losing alot of power and sometimes even just nose diving, the boost guage flutters alittle bit when it does it but nothing to major from the look of the guages, what im thinking is my distributer is goin bad but im not positive. Its getting worseby day, 1st gear it breaks up at 7k and in 2nd it breaks up around 5k and as well with all of the gears. this problem is nagging me to death as i work over 50 hours a week. Just wanna get some ideas in my head so i know what to shoot for. I could maybe even post a video of what it is doing if needed, just wanna get this **** fixed!! thanks in advance
are you shure you not hitting your boost cut. maybe your getting a little spike in boost when the turbo is ramping and your boost cut is to low. in your post you said your car was nose dropping. post a video it will help alot
it seems like how he explained it that he's still able to go through the rpms and it doesn't fall flat on it's face and cut out. that's what a boost cut would be like, it immediately cuts out and whips you in your seat
