Default Good How-To on Goodridge SS Brakelines?

Hi, was wondering if someone could point me towards a good how-to for the installation of SS brakelines plz.... TIA

Follow the helms instructions. Don't torque the banjo bolts any tighter then 20 ft. lbs or they will break. If you break one call Goodridge they'll send them for free. Be sure to use the new washers that are provided.

hrm.... the first time i was trying to install the lines, i had a problem trying to removie teh stock brakelines from the hardline.... any tips for that? thanks

Loosen the fitting on the hardline carefully, they strip easy. 8mm I think. Just loosen it and pull up on the hardlineit until it comes free (you can leave it inside). Then remove the retaining clip from the bracket by prying it out towards you with a screwdriver or yanking with a pair of pliers.

They DO strip easily, once i noticed i stopped. I think it was 10mm, but what are the Flare Nut Wrenches used for? Those fittings were NOT goin anywhere...

Definately do this! I stripped the first hardline to hoseline connector trying to use a normal wrench. deifnately get the flare wrenches, big big big help; makes the job real easy.
