Default ground clearance with DC 4-1 header and lowered integra

i was wonderin' if any of you 94-01 integra owners who are lowered with eibach sportlines [about 2" drop] have any clearance problems with the DC 4-1 header [not the JDM version] to the ground?

i'm askin' cause i always see people sellin' their 4-1 headers with dents on the bottom, if the clearance is limited i would rather go with the 4-2-1 design, but i prefer the 4-1 design for my GSR...

I know of a couple people with a 1.8 or lower drop and the 4-1 scrapes at odd inclines in the road, but neither regret it cause of the results!

you'll have clearance problems with a 1.5 inch drop. the 4-1 header hangs lower than the 4-2-1. When i sold mine it was scraped up.

I'm riding on H&R sports and my header has a couple of nice dents in them. I'm not even sure when it happened.

I have the DC sports 4-1 header on my 01 GS-R. I have about an 1.75 drop on ground controls, with 17" rims. I have not yet scraped my header. But with my stork wheels on it comes close. So when you drop your car get 17"rims. put slicks on the stock wheels and save them for the track.

i have a GSR lowered with h&r sportline springs. yeah dc 4-1 headers do hang low but not as low as a AEM cold air intake. i think my intake hangs lower than my headers do. but also, yes i have scarped my headers as well. but again i just moved to cleveland. compaired to california. they have speed bumps on the free... atleast they look like speed bumps on the freeway = \

Mine is scraped in at least 3 places. It is all from a couple of speedbumps on steroids and driveways that have sharp inclines, and then go flat at a sharp angle.

Short of these instances when I guessed scraping was inevitable, no problems.

Ive got Sportlines on my car with the DC 4-1 Header and i have 2 big dents in the header, along with a lot of scrapage. Im waiting for it to get a hole Im actually thinkin of takin it to a muffler shop or something and having them weld in some more steel into the header and maybe a custom skid plate. Who knows

I just checked my header today. My brace is broken I removed it. Alot of my rattling left. I looked at the ends of the brace and on side was a little smooth from the broken halfs rubbing against each other. I tried pulling the header off of my oil pan a little with my baby pry bar. I don't think I did much. The header is stronger than it looks.
