intermitten no start
Looking to get any input on what may be causing this problem or if anyone has experienced the same situation.
92 prelude si with h22 swap no remote start or alarm or anything installed.
Here is what is going on:
On rare occasions maybe 3 times a month or so this will happen. When i go to start the car it will fire up and before it gets to 1000 rpm it will stall out and then not start, just crank. Let it sit for a few minutes (usually less than 2 minutes) and it will start up and no problems for a week or so.
Any ideas?

sounds like your fuel pump honestly. Seems thats the line is still primed when you start it, than it loses fuel and dies.
check to see when it doesn't start if the fuel pump is working. You can simply unplug the fuel return line and see if fuel cones out. Not sure if there is a better way but that's what I have done in the past.

Honestly, it could be a number of things. What is the overall history of the car? How old is the swap? actual mileage on the odometer? When is the last time you did a full tune-up on the car? (ie, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, main relay? etc?) I would take care of the proper maintenance first if you haven't done so.
was having the same problems with my 92, did a repair to the fuel pump relay and no more problems!

just order a new OEM relay or find the relay diagram and wires it in. But if its the fuel pump alone the relay won't fix it. Only way to know is to see if its pumping when its not starting. Also it could be the relay, may be worth attempting to switch it out.
So any news on this issue? I've been broke down and stranded for the last 12 hours and My main relay has been freshly resoldered on all points and it's perfect. I suppose it could be my fuel pump since I am not getting fuel to the rail. I do get spark though. Please let me know what's going on with you car bro.

Where do you live? I have a similar issue with mine during hot weather when I leave the windows up on my black/black 4g. My Mechanic buddy mentioned its a bad relay and if you lay under the dash you can hear a delayed click when it pops open/closed sometimes. If you kick around under your dash (lightly) you might jostle it enough to get it to start. Sounds ghetto, but it's gotten me out of some no-start situations.
When it's doing it, try starting it while laying on the floor under your dash. You should hear a relay click when you turn the key. If you don't try tapping the relays a few times with a screwdriver handle or something and you may hear it pop open. Then try starting again. You can isolate the relay this way as well.
I'll talk to my friend tomorrow to find out exactly which one it is and get back to you.

My car ended up being the fuel pump. It went out intermittently for 6 months. Then it died. I would pull the main relay and re-heat all the solder on all the points and while they're melted, apply fresh solder. Then you can rule out the main relay since honestly. Re-soldering yours will be equal if not better than a new one from Honda. I compared mine to a new one, and my solder job is much cleaner than from the factory. You may have a tiny leak in the fuel lines on the tank and fuel pump assembly where when it's operating, it may suck air into the line and push air into the rail and cause a stall. Otherwise it could be an air intake leak possibly. I'd say replace the cap, rotor, and plugs which you should do anyway and see if that helps.
99.9% CHANCE IT'S THE FUEL PUMP. When it doesn't start, crack open 17mm fuel rail bolt (just loosen it). Then try and crank. If no fuel comes out, then it's the fuel pump. Unless you haven't re-soldered the main relay. So re-solder the main relay and if your still not getting fuel. It's the FUEL PUMP. It will go out if you run your car close to empty a lot.
