what spring rate for my car

Default what spring rate for my car

Hi Im gonna be buying some ground control coilovers for my 99 civic hatch and was wondering what the best spring rate would be. It's my daily driver and I have koni red but will be getting yellow in the future thanks Nate

350/350 for dd....

How low are you looking to go?

Also remember, if you want to run sports in the future, you will need to buy Koni "spec" Gc's now.


450F 350R is a good starting point. 350F is pretty soft.

will i need different ones if i get koni yellow i have koni red now. im looking to go about 2.5-3 drop. thanks nate

Did you read my post?

To use Koni Sports you need the koni specific ground control sleeves. I have no clue if you can use them on the red's.

Just save up and do it at once.

The problem with waiting to buy the strut at the same time is my skunk2 coilovers are falling apart and now these a pop in the steering.

If you get Koni Yellows later than you'll be doing it twice if they are different from the Reds.
