Ok so Im looking at doing my wife's 95 ex coupe up into a lil bit of a show car but Im at a loss on some suspension components and am not quite sure which is better. Im looking a get getting black works racing LCAs (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLACK...item3f0bf0dc75) and either the subframe brace (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLACK...item3f0acdc2a7) or the rear lower tie bar (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BLACK...item3cb8df2518) what do yall think or can I run both. Im not really doing this for any main reason other than making it handle a little better but mainly because she loves pink and all those components should end up being pretty close in color. Any way any help yall can give would be greatly appreciated

 

The words "showcar" and "Blackworks" do not go together. Also these components will not make your car handle any better but are for show. Start instead by getting a set of coilovers.

 

sorry guess I should have said about the ground control coil overs that are already on it lol. It has ground control coilovers and adjustable kybs on it. But like I said im not to concerned on the handling because she doenst drive it like a racecar anyway lol.

 

Again, Blackworks isn't what I'd qualify as showcar caliber. Function 7 or nothing.

 

Well funtion doesnt have the pink that she wants so that why we went with bwr but anyway its more for the local shows we go to not to be taking trophies at the big shows

 

I installed an ebay rear subframe brace. The quality seemed decent on the product but I have not gotten the rest of the work done on the car to comment on longevity or driving impact. Function 7 makes some very nice looking parts and powder coating the exact color you want should not be too pricey and would likely be better for shows.

What's your point? Apparently your definition of showcar is different than mine.

 

function7 is pretty much the only way to go for LCA's. others often have bad bushings or other problems. you can always paint them

 

Function7 LCAs or the new(er) Skunk2 design are good. I have the S2's and haven't had a problem in the past 2 years. Previous to the S2's I have blox (same as blackworks) and the bushings were torn within 6 months. The replacement bushings order from Blox didn't last much longer than that.

Also, for the brace, Function7, or ASR, or nothing IMO. I have the ASR brace/24mm swaybar/endlinks and love it.
