i have a 99-00 ek3 civic. i recently heard a clunk noise coming from rear of the vehicle so i jack it up an found that the trailing arm bushings was busted so i had it changed. The machanic checked all other bushing an all was in good condition. Rolled out the shop an still heard the noise. i hear the noise when driving over bumpy or wavy road. when on smooth road i dont hear anything. when goin over humps i dont hear anything. The machanic check all bushings again an say all good an the shocks need changing. I want to get some suggestions an some second opinions.

 

is it lowerd at all? any aftermarket things in the rear?

no upgrade. everything is stock. checked that as well. I tried tightenin the centre nut, it kept on turning with the rubber. check the outer nuts an dey are tight

 

check struts..
maybe its something small like an exhaust clunk lol

 

I think there was some kind of a recall on this check the FAQs section
