93 del sol with D16Z6 -- timing/power issues HELP PLEASE!!
im going to try the boards one more time to see if i can get some help. i rebuilt my d16y6 1.6 vtec top to bottem new everything almost and for some reason im having horrible issues trying to get the timing and power back. when i timed it tdc the disturbitor had to be ajusted all the way forward for startup and idle. when you give it gas under a load it bogs and missfires really bad and has no acceloration. i tryied re-timing 3 times one a tooth to the exhaust and one a tooth to the intake and it still is having bad issues. i get it to start up fine and the only time a chech engine light came on was one tooth intake. i have no audiable, visual leaks fluid or vaccume, i already cleaned out the whole throttle body and every valve/ sensor. im stumped and fursterated all help is welcomed and would like to resolve this issues asap so i can have my dd back. thank you all and thank you Ron in advance for help.
Completely stock D16Z6? OEM timing belt?
Turn the crank pulley several full revolutions counterclockwise just until the cam is set perfectly at TDC1. Take crystal clear pictures of the cam alignment and the crank pulley TDC1 mark alignment with the pointer on the lower timing belt cover.
