Icon2 H22a swap please help

I just got done swapping my 1995 h22a into my 1992 accord and when I slowly rev up to 2,000rpms it starts to rev between 1,200-2,300rpms. When I unplugged the TPS sensor this stopped. I replaced the TPS sensor with a new one thinking it was the sensor, but when I plugged it back in it still does it. Please help me, I have no other ideas of what it could be.

Adjust your FITV and clean your IACV.

And be sure you didn't switch the tps and map sensor connectors. Any codes?

I did that after I got done installing my Euro R Intake Mani. I even told myself to not mix them up before I started the IM swap. Car idles like sh*t and will look like a major misfire if the OP did mixed them up.

I don't see how you can swap those connectors on a 4th gen assuming your using the accord map sensor and not rewiring in the h22a one.

Oh, and don't forget to calibrate the TPS. You can't just throw it on.

How do you calibrate the TPS sensor? I never knew I was supposed to do that.

Use a voltmeter, but you have to find the two correct wire to measure for voltage. It should read .5v at close throttle and 4.5v at WOT.

It should always be the middle wire. You will need to cut it somewhere back from the TPS connector with the connector plugged into the TPS sensor because part of the test relies on the other two wires being plugged in. When I did mines I just cut the wire, tested it and used a connector to put it back together, but after thinking about it, I think it would be best to test them and then put a male and female connector on each side of the wire just in case you ever need to test it again you can just unplug each connector.

Anyway, like I said, cut the red wire in the middle back from teh connector with the connector plugged in, then turn the ignition on without starting the car. Then test voltage using the 20k voltage setting and turn the connector until it reads .50 voltage. You don't mess with the other two wires at all.

Then just unplug the negative terminal of the battery and wait a couple minutes then plug it back in so the ecu can adjust to your new positioning.
