Default B20 golden eagle sleeved block 85mm

Hi, can a B20 block sleeved by golden eagle 85mm withstand 600hp on a boost application. Block will be build with all the goodies, low compression dish forged pistons, eagle rods, arp bolts, micro polished oem crankshaft etc etc. I mean that it will withstand without cracking a sleeve. Any comments?

84mm to 85mm isnt going to be much of a difference in power but the sleeves will be able to handle more abuse. just run 84mm

for 600whp you dont even need that large or a bore. the smaller the bore you can do to obtain your power goals the better, more surface area for the HG to seal is what your ideally looking for

I'm asking that, because a friend of mine has a b20 block sleeved by golden eagle with 85mm bore for sale (brand new). That's why I am asking. My goal is 550hp, but I did crack some stock sleeves in the past with 500hp on a ls/vtec and I don't want that anymore. I am getting a good deal on this block. Is it worth it to build?

have you looked at the eagle website on how much boost the sleeves can handle? i believe it's 80psi.....with that said, you'll be fine.

my 84mm GE sleeve B20 is running fine for the past few years...85mm isn't much more and will seal just fine if you use the correct torque specs and good head studs.

cracking sleeves has more to do with your tune than the boost you're running...
