Alright heres my story, I bought this car 6 months ago, ran amazing, gets me 40+ mpg, and has A/C =O. But a while back I washed my engine bay, bagged off the intake, and cleaned. A few days later, I warmed up the car and went for a drive, whenever I gave it full throttle, it kinda studdered for a a second or two, then goes like normal. I checked for water in the spark plug holes, nothing. now, this happens, COMPLETELY Randomly. My clutch is on its way out, but I really dont think thats it, because the problem will also happen when its in neutral(5spd). Any idea what this could be? Also, how hard is it to do a clutch on these things, having never done a clutch before?

EDIT= I know this sounds stupid, but I was messing around with my front o2 sensor and accidentally pulled the wires out of it(4 wire), and it hasnt happened since, I have NEVER heard of a car running better with out an o2 sensor plugged in.

 

yea my friend cut his o2 it ran better with a mid pipe without an o2 than with,
maybe check the rear o2?
and clutch on there if u have some mechanical skills are easy, im sure there are write ups allover just search

 

Ive checked the rear o2, and it wsa new when I bought the car, so I dont think it is that, any more ideas?

 

maybe check the cat?
