Hi all.

I'm replacing my gas tank due to the fact its rusted out, all thanks to my 2 way valve that the housing cracked and slowly leaked gas onto the tank.

My question is, can I replace my current 2 way valve and its bypass solenoid which has a wire harness.( I'm going to assume for fault code reasons.) with the one that came from my used tank from the scrapyard that only contains the 2 way valve. No bypass no wires. Just the valve. I'm sure my CEL will always be on due to this. But I can live with the light.
