Default just picked up a 95 hatch

So... just picked up my first honda yesterday.... and I am the worlds biggest honda newbie.
I'm pretty familiar with cars in general, and have been working on imports for a while(mitsu and nissan mainly).
so, the car is a 95 civic hatch. D16b8? Or D15b8? Ill have to check again. Ill post up picultures tonight but it it a stock motor, runs good. I need to wire up headlights, put in a new hatch lid, and almost the entire interior is gone.
Like I said. Ill post up pics later. Ill be doing tons of reading on here but can't wait to get this car back to glory
I already have a go fast car, so the plan for this one is to just make it pretty, maybe lower it, and have a nice comfy fun dd/scca car.

Post your pictures and I'll move your thread to the Appearance/Cosmetic forum as you have posted a non-technical thread in a technical forum.

Well, here is the car itself.

I guess the biggest question I have is are there parts that are interchangeable between the sedans and the hatchs?
There is a 92 4 door, and a 94 dx that both have good condition dashes at a local junkyard that I want to pull, but I can't find a hatch for the life of me.

RonJ - Sorry about that, I figured that this was an alright place for an intro because it was the specific subforum for my car. my bad.

No worries. You've added a tech question so I'll leave this thread here if it continues to focus on a technical questions.

At first I was like this...
Then I banged my head on my desk. closed my laptop, and left my room....

But good luck with the build.
Complete OEM conversion would be a start....

Good Day.

As of right now the plan is replace dash, replace hatch lid, stock bumpers, paint interior, paint exterior, wheels, small drop.
Like I said, i already have a go fast car, and that is not at all what i want this to be. I also have a great DD, so I mostly just picked this up because I wanted a Honda hatch, and wanted something that I could essentially pick up from rock bottom.
Who knows, with that rear bumper though and hood I might just be the new "rice king" in my town.

5 thumbs up to you if you actually stick it out and achieve your goals. I personally would like to see this car be brought back to its original condition; it would really go to show what is cappable if you put your mind to something.

Agreed haha. But at least it's mostly stripped down already. You could definitely have a sick dd if you stick with it.

Well, started today.
