So i have a ek with a manual transmissions, my throttle cable is torn to crap and it held together by a couple of thread, i found a automatic ek, with a y7 and took the throttle cable from it, they both look the same, but i wasnt sure if the manual one is longer or shorter, i installed the automatic throttle cable on my car and it seems to be a tad shorter, anyone know why? if anyone could tell me if they are the same or different please let me know, i got it all hooked up and it seems to drive fine, but the cable wont go into the oem placement holders because it too short?... old one fit fine

It wouldnt make sense to change the size or type of throttle cable on a automatic or manual d16y7 throttle cable, they both go to the exact same place on the exact engine.. so maybe i installed it wrong, but why would the automatic one be shorter?
