For a stock block/head, IMO, those numbers sound pretty good. It's all relative, considering the variance in dynos.

That 13.5 class is going to be a bit of a stretch unless you have your launch and everything down pat from the get-go. Should run in that area if you pull decent 60' times. My EJ1 (2550 lbs) w/ GSR build made right at 180whp and runs consistent 13.9's with 2.0 60's.

Oh and the green is what I made before the tune with just a basemap. The blue is after the tune.

13.5 is VERY attainable if you can drive the car to its full potentail. Any idea what it weighs? Cams would be a nice upgrade, something like tuner 2's

That's another thing, I have a 3 inch short ram. I wish I was making that tq haha. I had a dc header but got rid of it for the tri-y. I picked up 20wtq in my midrange

You need to do some more research on cams

i went 13.01 with 183/133 in a 92 vx chasis on 22x8x13's
only thing was taken out was passenger seat and back seats, probably weight around 2200-2300lbs. with me in it.

I think you should run 13.50's no problem if your on slicks.

why is that? im posting in relation to what i have now, this isnt a thread for my upcoming build. i only stated what cams id be going with eventually with a build, and that the itr cams i have now should support a 13.5 class.

not a stretch at all. 193whp (bone stock 96spec B18C) in my EJ1 chassis netted me a 13.3 on streettires (high 2.0 60ft) within 5 tries at the track. 186whp+hatch+streettires= easy 13.5 if you somewhat know how to drive

LSvtec

stock Gsr head
skunk2 satge 2 cams tuner series
skunk2 valve train
skunk intake manifold
stock tb
crappy dc header with 2 1/4 collector
stock injectors

Ls block
b16 pr3 pistons
ls rods and arp rod bolts

this made 183whp and 133tq and ran 13.01 on first run out at the track, then broke a axle on the second run in the burnout box and didnt get to run anymore.

i later put on a ported head, 68mm tb, a ebay tri y header 2.5 collector, and a set of rc 440cc injectors and retuned, dynoed 215whp 143tq. a BIG difference! didnt get a chance to run this and sold the motor to a buddy.
He ran mid 11's with it but it was in a 1700lbs chasis.
