what motor did your car come with originally?

 

if u got a jdm b16b srt8 from japan or like hmotor etc... and no one has touched it. it should drop into your ek fine. b16b came out of ek in japan.

only thing u might have to do is change fuel rail or get a longer fuel line.

Don't listen to this retard. Go look up what you need. Such as the mounts,shift linkage, axles, tranny, ecu. This site has everything you need to know to do the swap.

 

what the FCK u talking about bro^ he asking will a b16b fit he not asking what you need. im telling him if its still in orginal form it should drop in. bc i dont know about you but ive bought mutliple swap where it had da/dc side post// tbracket and i had to switch out bc those side post//bracket dont fit ek. dipshit! the b16b orginal side post and tbracket are ment for ek also stock ek d series motor mount fit b series.. so it will drop in

also i dnt know if you've ever got a motor from japan (you sound like a broke b!tch who cant afford one) the fuel rail is opposite bc its rhd and fuel filter on opposite side. so he would need a longer fuel line or usdm fuel rail

I dont need to know what i need. i already know i need ecu, harness, linkage, etc. i just need to know am i going to have to relocate the motor mounts or will the new one just bolt into place in the stock spot.

 

stock d series mount will work on the b16b

 

No just get b-series mounts and drop it in.

hasport doesnt sell b or d spefic mount they say there mount kit and say "fits d series and b seires". bc ek d series mount are the same as b series


imo keep ur oem d mounts. polly fill them up if u want to make them stronger

If you get the new mounts you can use them with any b-series motor you can think of and they are way better then the pos stock d-series mounts you have in there now which are probably worm to **** anyway.

Last thing you need is to use the ones you have now and have to pull everything out just to change the mounts when you already had the motor out

stock d series mount will work on any b series motor he puts in the car. i agree with u there hasport avid are worth the price^ but if he doesnt have the cash stock d will work jus as well for the time being. my boys been running his polly filled for 6monthish.

btw polly filling mount makes the mount strong again. i seen people get mounts completely torn to **** (where u can pull the center piece out) polly fill them had work perfect till they had money for hasport.
