Default hows this for a air/fuel guage.......

are you tired of staring at your autometer A/F guage that has a bunch of LED lights which give you pretty much no indication of exactly how rich/lean you are really running at?!

i came across this air/fuel guage in a off-roading truck magazine and it looked pretty good........it comes with it's own "buffer box" which takes the volatage from your o2 sensor and sends it to the guage to accuratly give you the air/fuel ratio.

of course it may not be 100% perfect and accurate when compared to a expensive wideband o2 sensor.......but it sure beats the conventional air/fuel guage which isnt very accuate at all.

and speaking to a few guys at my shop Nordskog Performance makes some pretty good guages for marine use. most if not all guages found on race boats use Nordskog guages.

• 2 5/8" diameter
• Will work with your stock oxygen sensor or purchase sensor S8942 separately.
• 270 degree, full sweep, stepper motor movement.
• Industrial servo technology and buffer circuit for steady readings in all conditions.
• Accurately displays 14.7: 1 Stoichiometric Air: Fuel Ratio.
• Broad range of reference numbers for easy accurate tuning.
• Programmable output for "lean" condition warning. Must purchase R1000 output relay kit for use above 2 amps.
• Recalls richest reading achieved.
• LED through-dial lighting for excellent nighttime visibility and great looks.
• Available in Black, White or Silver face with Black, White or Silver bezel. Not available in Black face with Black bezel or White face with White bezel.

Guys in the FI forum have come to the conlusion that the voltage range that the stock 02 sensor uses is too small to get a reliably accurate reading from.

There are other in-car wideband o2 sensors that you can buy for ~$400.
