How much HP do you think i can make?
OK i was just curious what others think of my set up. And how much power my car will make. I just want a guesstimate before I get a dyno tune.
Set up:
H22 stock
H23 pistons
Drag turbo manifold
Drag FMI
BLITZ BOV
Garret T60-1 turbo
RC 650cc injectors
(looking to tune at 12 PSI)
Full 2.5 inch exaust (down pipe to muffler)
I was hoping at least 320 whp
???

Whats the plan when your ringlands explode? Thats what you should be worried about.....Not some stupid # on a dyno to brag about.
Lemme guess, this is your daily driver, and you're boosting on a budget?!
I think you'll make 250-275whp for a couple dyno runs at 10-12psi, since you put the low compression H23 pistons in there.
You'll get it home and "give it a couple clicks" on your hardware store DIY manual boost controller, cause you "wanna see what she'll do" and grenade your pistons/ringlands, subsequently destroying the FRM sleeve walls and your block.
You'll be posting up here wondering about weird noises and why is my exhaust smoking. That will be followed shortly by six or seven threads chock full of vulgarities about the tuner at the dyno you went to, and how he's an idiot and we should all stay away from them cause they're scammers and don't know what they're doing.
My $0.02 ...
Don't turbo your car, you'll only blow it up and blame everyone else for it.

BTW, dyno numbers don't mean ****. There's a correction factor a tuner can use to make that number do whatever they want. I know for a fact there are one or two tuning shops I could go to regionally and my 469 would become 500-550 without changing anything. Because some of the N/A guys are getting 30whp by driving down the street and doing some pulls, with no tuning changes.
I generally like to hear that the numbers coming off my tuner's dyno are lower than everyone else's. I'd rather have a fast, drivable, reliable car, than a big number and a motor that spits and pops at idle, but it "makes big power".

yeah i know. its a toy and this is my build so far. i already blew it stock and yes it was the ringlands. sencond build was stock again but this time with a bigger turbo and it was set at a lower psi until i can get a tune. but then again it blew bc of ringlands. so now im bumping the compression down a little with more suff. so far the motor lasted longer than before. so im putting a little more hope into this set up.
before u guys start saying stupid stuff and cussing at my set up. my plan is to build a H series with OEM honda parts and see wat it can do. i dont care if its reliable or not. if u beat on your car wats the point of saying its reliable????
but thanks for the hunch. im hoping some where between 260-320 whp.

you know that tuning your engine is what will make it stop blowing up alot and gain a **** load more power. You cant just slap a turbo and run it hard, gotta tune the engine for it.
