Nice numbers
What's with that dip in the powerband? Is that from VTEC engaging?

yeah it looks like it was probably engaged too early or it hasnt been tuned 'perfectly' yet. nice improvement in numbers though

Yeah i'm not sure what that dip is, but it seems to happen right where vtec kicks in. Not sure why though maybe someone could help me shed some light on that.

the dip is from the cam switching over, it is overlapping so u get a slight dip..no problems just more tunning and you'll get a smooth curve. Nice #'s

How's your A/F? Some guys run a bit lean when their VTEC engages and causes a power dip like that. Good numbers, btw

Why does it say MAX HP = 301 when the graph shows ~315ish?

I think you're looking at the torque curve. If you look at the scale ont he right, that curve lines up with about 215, which is what his max torque is.

Try moving the vtec switchover up in a little.
I had my vtec switchover point at 5,200rpm and there was a dip that looked like yours. I was losing 20whp at that point. I moved the vtec point up to 6k rpm and the transition is a lot smoother. I only lose about 3 whp now when it switches over.
6k is a bit high but it works the best for me. The guy who dyno'd my car said that it's a common trait that turbo charged vtec honda's have.

well, my compression is a lot lower than yours is, i'm sure. so, if by work you mean increase displacement and compression than sure, that is my next project. Also, how long do you think your stock internals will last? Cause i know my internals will hold up to that amount of power for quite some time. How often to run at that much boost anyway? daily or was that just your peak hp numbers?
