Nice! Not a bad time at all.

What's the CR on those ITR pistons? 11:1?

11.1 or 11.5 I forgot but its around 10.5 right now with my b16 head so I lost compression

Really? You can lose compression even if you switch to a B16 head?

b16 and gsr combustion chamber are different. b16 combustion chamber is bigger and gsr combustion chamber is smaller. but you can mill a b16 head to gain more compression too

b16 head

gsr head

s2s3 wouldn't be ideal.. I'd look into a pro1 or maybe something else.

why pro 1? I would make more power with s2 or s3.

lol.. ok.

Bigger is not always better. You don't have the mods nor airflow to support a tuner 3 camshaft. The overall better performing cam will be the pro1's, specially since this seems like it will be a street car..

8 more in the midrange will get you faster down the track then 5 @ peak.

tuner series camshafts retain "stock" primaries..with a huge *** vtec lobe. Pro series cams have modified primaries which are bigger then stock and produce better low/midrange without losing top end. The s2s2 and pro1 share close to the same vtec lobe..pro1 has a bit more duration i believe.

But you go with what you think is best.

In a quest for 12's your going to need to up the CR and build the head a bit more.

wrong

itr chambers are almost identical to b16 heads (apart from some minor bowl work)

so the usdm ITR pistons net around 11:1 cr (11.3ish with JDM ITR pistons) in a straight ITR/GSR block with ITR/B16 head.
coupled with a 89mm stroke it ups the cr by another .2 cr.
increasing from 81 to 81.5 usually adds .1 cr

so let's say your at least @ 11+ cr

Im in the same boat as ALL_M0T0R. Pro 1's on this build would be killer. Im not a fan of the tuner cams myself since 90% of my driving is done out of vtec. Also I would look into the Performer X manifold over the S2.

It says JDM B16 head, but I doubt he made those numbers on B16 cams. My guess would be ITR's

I made 160whp untuned with a stock gsr bottom and and stock b16 head with stock cams, and hes got a higher C/R and a bigger motor and the tuner said he could have got 10 more whp out of my build.....and my car ran a similar times 14.5 @94.88mph but mines in a hatch so its a decent amount lighter (no ps/ac/power anything) so I could see alot of gains from a performer x or maybe a ITR because a performer x does make power but is a PIA to make fit haha. But with a performer x, pro1 cams, and a good tune 200whp shouldn't be a problem, but you also should look into a different header, at least a better knock off haha.
But mid 12's will be hard to do as people have said you better gut it and get some pretty good launching skillzzzzz (you prob. already have more then me but judging from your video you must have good tires or at least better then mine)
