5 speed swap problems, wont start cluster says its in D and P
tittle pretty much says it all, got everything done with the swap and go to start it and it says its in park and drive, tried messing with the little "gear selector" thing where you can slide it from D to P and still nothing.

no u have to jump connectors on gear selector u have to jump to make car think its in park all the time. u need to be in P all the time to drive and cut off and remove key. if im not mistaken Baldwin did a write up perfect and shows diagram of which pins to jump theres 4 total. 1 - 1 and 1- 1 so 2 jumps. the write up l know is in hondasociety.com and i think he also has it on here just search. any other ? pm me l did swap with no issues over a yr ago

i tried this except for hooking up the reverse wires and it still did the same thing. im sure just getting a 5 speed ecu would work fine but im trying to do it without that.(its the picture under the shifter boot buy the shifter linkage with all the wiring)

read balwins write up with the pictures. it shows the plug and which each by color is. then which ones to jump read and follow
look at his connector l just jumped mine by taking a wire about 2 inches and stuck one in to pin and other into other pin. and jumped them straight instead of running all the wiring
