Hey everyone just wanted to show a little project I just finished. To make a long story short I just bought my first EG in February. By May I converted it from an auto tranny to a manual. I didn't like having an RPM gauge and I had an Si cluster laying around. Here's what I was able to come up with.

Let me know what you think... It was a little weird with the harness being for an auto cluster but it's pretty straight forward.

How was the wiring? I got my old SI cluster and I would love to put it in my eg hatch. I heard you gotta do some modifying/wiring to make this all work.

Its actually really easy.. I got a 99-00 SI cluster with the pigtails. All you really need are the two big ones to make it work. The green clips for cruise, orange is ABS, yellow of course is SRS.
You take out the stock cluster, in my case a 94 auto DX. Take off the front plastic and bezel. I trimmed out the bezel with a dremel and made the edges as flat as I could. On the SI cluster you remove the plastic and you'll notice there is a top "shelf," just trim that down until the cluster is the same size as the stock one without the glass. You'll see what I mean when you get into it. I switched the odometer reset buttons and then I trimmed the front plastic and cluster together for a decent fit. BlueIntegraBoy has a good write up for the wiring for this. Very straight forward and it's in the FAQ section. Feel free to PM with any questions. Hope this helps!
Here's all the wiring.

Looks good. The hardest part is molding the eg clear cover and mounting tabs onto the gauge cluster and it looking good. I put a gsr cluster into my hatch a while back. I made a plug n play harness so I didn't have to cut any wires and could go back to the stock cluster if I ever wanted to. The integra is much more accurate than my eg ever was.
