Default Should I use this replacement CV axle?

I'm in the process of swapping my CV axle since the threads at the ends got cross threaded during removal when I just trying to retorque it to 220 ft-lbs. Anyways, napa-autozone-o'reilly didn't have CV axles so I had to get a new one online for $90 at http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/de...3-1714672.html

Anyways, on closer inspection, I noticed that the axle itself is smaller in diameter and the rubber boot clips don't look as well designed to stay together. You guys think this could be a problem? I'm wondering if I can move the oem boot clip from the old one to the new axle?
