I would ditch the skunk 2's just my opinion I've always ran jun cams, check my build thread, If you want to run the skunk 2's I'd save some money and run blox. I'd go with the 12:00 Je pistons. Goodluck

Thanks for the advice!, But the reason why i run sKunks is because i heard that Blox cams Scratch camshaft journal's. If they didt then i would run them beacuse they are significatly cheap then skunks.

Slap yourself please. Scrap Skunk2 cams for Blox?
Anyways OP Pro 2's would be great cams for this build. I wouldn't mill the head, save the room for extra clearance with larger cams. As for the Intake Manifold there are better choices out there than the Blox piece. A ported ITR, Performer X or even Victor X would be my choice over the blox. Depends what you are ultimately looking for as far as performance. All around I feel like the PX w/ the TB portmatched would perform best.

Thanks for your feedback, I will this imformation in consideration, and as far as Piston choice what would you recommend with 91 Pump Fuel? 12.1 or 12:5.1?

I would run the 12:1 and leave room for timing/tuning.

Going through this debate is pointless. OP, you can't get advice and tips since we don't know about what it is you're trying to do here. (Mission, power goals, use of the car, etc. ). A Pro1 may indeed be the one you need and not a Pro2. But don't go by just someone else, go by what you're trying to do with this car, and pick the best quality parts that work according to your build. Only then can you make any true informed decisions. Because in the end, only you are going to be driving the car, not us. Check out other builds in this forum that are more to your catering, and create a base list from there. Only then can you make use of Honda-Tech a beneficial one.

Neither. Go back down to about 11.5. Going to 12:1 or higher is just going to cause your tuner to retard timing down to as though it were less anyway so that the engine can avoid knock from your low octane fuel.

since you only have 91 octane id sugest going down to 11.5:1 compression and spend money elsewhere like port work on the head it will be way more reliable with lower compresion and you can still make the same power the only time id sugest the 12.1:1 or 12.5:1 is if you had e85 avaible in your area remeber more compression only helps when you have the gas to make it run rite avaible otherwise the tuner will have to retard the timing alot just to make it run rite like someone else above stated

Go with the JE 12:1 pistons and get a thicker head gasket to get you closer to 11.5:1.
Get a better Intake Manifold. At least the Edelbrock Performer X or Kingmotorsports modified Px.
Don't deck the head, you don't need a compression increase.
There are better injectors out there for the price, ID's, FIC's, DeatschWerks.
What is your exhaust going to be? This much time and money I would think an SMSP at 3" would be nice with a custom 3" exhaust.

Not to start an argument or anything, but that's probably not the best way to go. You'll just end up with more dome protruding into the chamber and less quench, all of which deteriorate combustion quality.

What you really want is the smallest combustion chamber possible with as close to a flat top/concave piston as possible. That typically seems to make the most power.

just a thought...go after a large cam like a Toda spec C that will lower dynamic compressing significantly allowing the setup to be more friendly with 91 octane...dont get all bent out of shape on a static compression number

I've had CTR piston setups in the B18 blocks and had it running 91 octane evne with as much as 27.5 timing advance...

no need to be milling head etc.

you're contradicting your plans by trying to mill head, put on 12.5:1 compr pistons and then running 91 octane...and you could simplify your setup even further by adding more overlap with cam gear adjustment too.
