96, Accord suddenly started showing the ABS warning light. It started after considerable work on the brakes. Nothing was done to the ABS unit, but I'm not sure if it was topped up. Does it take the same Dot 4 that the rest of the system uses? i.e. is there a separate fluid route to open the valves?


Any typical faults that give the warning light?

Great care was taken with the work and no recollection of brake sensor units being dislodged at any time.

Low mileage. Little or no rust. Need to get some more life out of it. Any help would be appreciated.

 

4 or 6 cyl?

Either way, get the codes. I'm going to guess one of the sensors got damaged. The codes will tell the story.
