I think you are confused. Running rich doesnt mean you arent burning all the fuel and spark plugs arent going to change that. Your a/f actually reads how much oxygen is in your exhaust I do believe...whether the other "parts" of your exhaust are from gas, nitrous, ethanol, etc doesnt matter. Same goes for either the fuel is "burnt" or not....the a/f doesnt read that. Thus, if you want to lean your motor our some, you would need to adjust how much fuel is going into the motor by tuning your ECU which inturn tells the injectors how much fuel to inject.

On a side note, with running plugs to hot can burn holes in your pistons.

On another side note, running "lean" causes pre-denotation which causes motor failure. Lean also produces more power and fuel economy, but can be very bad if you go too lean. You probably want to keep it +/- .5 of 13.0:1 a/f on a wideband or else bad things can happen.

racing and competition plugs have alot more variables to consider compared to standard OEM replacement plugs, IMO you can get an excellent burn from the proper heat range fine tip iridium plug.

get a wide-band o2 sensor and a tuning platform.

if you are 'fully built' i would hope you have your motor tuned precisely (not running on a stock basemap..)

no it was tuned by Force Fed Motorsports in Las Vegas is a lil rich cuz i drove from Vegas to Riverside CA where i now live and told him to tune it a lil on the rich side cuz im not tryin to burn a valve or any thing on the drive up. I only worry about washing the rings but i wont have the money for a tune for a few weeks and was thinking of what type of plugs i shoyld use i want the best so i burn up all the gas!! Lol Thanks Guys!
