The driver's side window on my 05 makes a clunk sound when being rolled down. It only happens when the window is 100% closed then immediately after pressing the switch a distinct "Kerplunk" sound is made for about 1 second. After that there is no more noise. Anyone else have this issue? Never had this issue before and I have over 170K miles since new and just today it started to happen. Not sure if this makes a difference but I did have my front windows stripped & retinted about a week ago. Anyone have input/advice/similar issue?

 

That happened to my ep3 then the window just dropped

Thanks man, whats weird is all of a sudden the clunking has stopped. I am stumped lol.

Well if its gone guess I wont worry for now.
