Default 93 cx throwout bearing

Good morning Honda Tech i have a 93 cx with a b16a2. My throwout bearing is going bad and eventuailly want to turbo my car. I have been toying with the idea of putting a lsd in and now that i have to take the tranny out anyway is it worth doing it now? if i dont plan on running boost for another year?

Worth it how? Money? Time? Performance? Why are you planning on putting one in if you don't know the pros and cons?

Rather than removing the thread, I'm going to answer the OP's question.

If you are questioning whether or not it's a good idea to take out a shoddy throwout bearing, the answer is yes.

If you are thinking of doing any sort of transmission work, it's best to try and do it all at once to save yourself the cost of removing the transmission again any time soon.

i know i need to change the bearing its common sense that whenm a part goes bad it needs to be changed. yes as far as doing the work while the tranny was out yes thats what i was wondering if it would be worth doing it now as compared to a year or so.

I'd say yes. I'd rather pull a tranny the least # of times possible, as it is a PITA of a job.
