JDM F22B Dohc non vtec timing belt
i have a F22B Dohc non vtec, my timing belt snapped, do i have to get the head machined? or can i just put a new timing, how can i tell if my valves are ruined with out pulling off the head? WHAT DO I DO!!
Not sure if this helps, as i have the single cam F22A1, but about 40,000 miles ago my crank pulley fell off (a month after i bought my car). anyway the local mechanic just bolted it back on and its been running fine ever since. (it did run for a minute like this before i figured out what the F*** happened and turned it off too.)
your gonna want to run a compression test to make sure your valves arnt bad
i just did this rebuild on my DOHC f22b so if u need any part numbers or anything let me know
here is a site that helped me http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/f22b/index.html
