Default Turbocharging an Integra DA

So I ran into a problem turbo'ing my buddies DA. He has a garrett GT25 on a jdmsport log manifold. I tried mounting the half size radiator and its almost touching the turbos exhaust side. also the radiator seems a bit too high. its a CXracing aluminum radiator. I wants to keep the subframe for some odd reason.

What would be the best turbo manifold to use? I will never try to turbo a DA again.

LMAO a common problem with ef/da chassis u need to get rid of that big hunky clunky oem traction bar/subframe or whatever its called. Get a nice innovative, or maybe a etd , the newer model. Your probably going to need custom tabs on your traction bar for the radiator to sit in. Unlike eg's and dc's we have to deal with cramped dookie engine bays

okay well the radiator is sitting okay now just sitting on that stupid subframe but! the turbo is on that jdmsport log style manifold and there is no room for the downpipe to bolt on because the radiator is nearly blocking the exhaust housing. what manifold should he use? the manifold he has is also offcentered since thats how it was designed.

dont get any traction bar other than full race for the DA. all the other ones are crap and break at the welds because there not braced properly. Ive delt with this issue first hand with traction bars on a da

1 that turbo manifold was probably not made to run in that car with that turbo

2 get rid of the stock sub frame and get a full race traction bar.

boosting a ef/DA in not that same and much harder than 94+ civics and integras because there is much less engine bay space

So have I, Justin. I had to horribly brace the ETD traction bar on mine back in the day. The welds had cracked twice before the reinforcing.

well im keeping the traction bar on there. but the log manifold he has sets the turbo to the left a little towards the radiator and angles it a little as well. but he ordered a ramhorn mani which will keep it more centered. hope this works. i hate turboing DAs lol
