Default Fitting/Fabbing an rsx cat back onto FA5

Hey guys, I'm planning on swapping my r18 for an SI this winter and the very very first thing I want to do is a marvelous exhaust setup. I want to have a buddy club race header bolted up to a spec 2 exhaust off a DC5. Anyone know what will need to be done to make this fit? I know I could just get a custom made straight pipe but it wouldn't sound exactly the same as the spec 2 because they would have different resonators. Please don't troll I know that this cat back is loud as hell but I come from cars that are loud as hell.

Not sure what info you are looking for, its a different car, so the obvious cutting and re-welding. I'd just make sure to go to a custom fab shop and not a muffler shop to at least get nice welds, not to ruin the buddy club.

Just looking for some insight as I have never gotten into something like this, every part I have ordered for my car has had oem or close to oem fitment. Thanks for the muffler shop tip though, I will have to search around for a shop that will do stuff like this properly. Do you mean a welding shop or? Cause I know of a few shops in my town where everyone goes to order parts and get aftermarket installations done.

On a side note, does anyone know if buddy club would sell just the bottle resonator off this system? or where I could find another resonator that is as small as the BC?
